This
is a 3-month syllabus where the trainee’s join us once a week for a 4-hour
class!
Who
should take the course?
The beginner’s course is perfect for your
domestic worker or housekeeper, or for someone who wants to learn the basics
and make simple but impressive meals!
What
to expect:
There will be a maximum of 6 beginners per
class, and each will cook between one and three dishes depending on the time
constraints and complexity of each dish!
The course includes basic training of the
following:

All basic cooking methods

Entry level baking

Shopping list savvy
·
Table settings and condiments
What
you’ll need:
We recommend buying our starter pack, which
includes a few key tools to ensure great cooking and baking:

Ginger Apple apron

Ginger Apple flip file for
recipes
·
serrated paring knife
·
measuring cups and spoons
·
an itemised shopping list pad
What
to bring:
·
Your own ingredients for each
cooking class – this encourages the trainees to make up their own shopping
lists and to do the shopping themselves.

Please not that we can provide the
ingredients at an extra charge.
Once
the syllabus is completed the graduate will receive a certificate and a Ginger
Apple Chef’s Hat!
Costs

Full Syllabus R3,000 (i.e. R1,000 per month / R250 per class)

person per class
